Customising Curriculum Settings
Add, edit, or disable subjects, categories, and criteria to match your school's reporting requirements.
Why Customise?
ReportRocket comes with Australian Curriculum-aligned templates, but every school reports differently. Customisation lets you:
- Add school-specific subjects or criteria
- Disable criteria you don't report on
- Rename items to match your school's terminology
- Create custom categories
Accessing Settings
Click Settings in the sidebar, then navigate to the curriculum section.
Customising Subjects
Add a Subject
- Click "Add Subject"
- Enter the subject name
- Set the display order
- Save
Edit a Subject
Click the edit icon next to any subject to:
- Rename it
- Change the order
- Disable without deleting
Reset to Default
If you've made changes and want to start fresh, click "Reset to Default" to restore the template.
Customising Categories
Categories organise criteria within subjects.
Add a Category
- Select the parent subject
- Click "Add Category"
- Enter name and order
- Save
Edit or Disable
- Edit to rename or reorder
- Disable to hide without deleting
Customising Criteria
Criteria are the individual items you tick during report generation.
Add Custom Criteria
- Select the category
- Click "Add Criterion"
- Enter the label
- Optionally add proficiency-level descriptions
Proficiency Descriptions
For each criterion, you can customise what "High", "Medium", and "Low" mean. These descriptions feed into the AI generation.
Disable Template Criteria
If a template criterion doesn't apply to your school, disable it rather than deleting.
Per-Year-Level Settings
Changes can be made globally or per year level. Use the year level selector to customise specific grades.
